Greene County

A Quality of Life Seeker’s Dream

Just minutes to the region’s many amenities lies Greene County. No matter where you are, the peaks of the Blue Ridge Mountains are almost always in view, making for an Instagram-worthy post. But if you’re not the type to admire the views from a distance, Greene County is one of the four gateway counties in Central Virginia where you can access Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park, home to some of the best hikes in the state.

Greene County offers a strong sense of community at Greene Commons where most local events happen — farmers market, concerts, and plenty of other events. You can also find lots of treasures at one of the many antique stores throughout the county.
